It is the most entertaining, the most unique, the most informative wrestling-related theatrical event EVER presented.  It is an audience interactive, multi-media stage presentation based on Gary Michael Cappetta’s acclaimed autobiography, Bodyslams!, Memoirs of a Wrestling Pitchman. GMC offers a revealing account of his romp through wrestling bringing his lengthy announcing career to life alongside the most popular and most controversial personalities in the history of the game.

Live from center stage, Gary Michael Cappetta takes his audience on a roller coaster ride of emotionally charged stories via the use of giant screen video footage and audio clips of current wrestling superstars as well as the many heralded legends that he has introduced and interviewed.  Stone Cold Steve Austin, CM Punk, Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Andre The Giant, Hulk Hogan, Daniel Bryan, Mick Foley, Gorilla Monsoon and Bruno Sammartino are only some of the personalities that GMC will bring to life through his candid, in-your-face style of storytelling magic.


Gary Michael Cappetta, author of Bodyslams!, Memoirs of a Wrestling Pitchman, is familiar to TV wrestling fans who watched him on World Wrestling Federation (WWE) broadcasts followed by stints with the American Wrestling Association on ESPN and World Championship Wrestling shows on TBS, pay-per-view broadcasts and syndicated programming world-wide. GMC can also be found on numerous Ring of Honor DVDs interviewing the titans backstage. He is the ring announce voice and game character for the video game “Showdown: Legends of Wrestling”.  In addition, Gary appears in the acclaimed Darren Aronosky film, “The Wrestler”, starring Mickey Rourke.


What is the ticket price and method of payment at the box office.

Only cash will be accepted at the box office the night of the performance.  Credit cards will not be accepted the night of the performance.  

Are there ID requirements?

Yes. You are required to present your printed ticket and ID with identical name at the box office.  Phone images of tickets will not be accepted.  Only printed paper tickets are accepted.

Is there an age limit to enter the event?

While there is no age limit to enter, it is recommended only youngsters with the attention span for a 90 minute story telling performance attend.

 What are my parking options getting to the event?

There is free parking in the lot next to the theater.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Mobile devices / cell phones should be turned off during the performance.  Video recording of the performance is prohibited.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No.  The name on the paper ticket must match the ID presented by the attendee at the box office.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes.  You must present your printed paper ticket and matching ID at the box office upon arriving at the theater.


What is the refund policy?

There are no refunds unless the performance is cancelled.


What time should Meet & Greet ticket holders arrive?

Meet & Greet ticket holders should arrive at the theater at least 45 minutes before show time to enter the theater early for priority seating. 



Directions By Subway: From Manhattan/Long Island City: Take the Queens-bound E or F train and transfer at 74th Street-Broadway for the Flushing-bound 7 train to the Mets-Willets Point station. Turn left out of the turnstiles, following signs to LIRR/Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

From Midtown Manhattan: Take the Midtown Tunnel to the Long Island Expressway (I-495 E). Take Exit 22B, merge on Grand Central Parkway West. Take exit 9P and follow the signs to Queens Theatre.

From Brooklyn: take the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (I-278 E) and exit 35E to Long Island Expressway East (I-495 E). Take exit 22B Grand Central Parkway West. Merge on Grand Central Parkway, take exit 9P and follow the signs to the theatre.

From Upper Manhattan and the Bronx: Take the RFK bridge to Grand Central Parkway East. Take Exit 9E, stay in the right lane after the exit and follow the signs to Queens Theatre.

From Long Island: Take Grand Central Parkway West. Take Exit 9P and follow the signs to the theatre.
